Given that the technology exists to predict future movements, what impediments are there to governments or other unscrupulous entities from using this technology against their own people or customers?
If there was any question about the importance of digital media in politics, the two candidates for president have created apps to help supporters help their respective campaigns. I look under the hood of both apps to see which campaign has made the best use new media applications.
I think the magic solution is to stop subsidizing urban sprawl by building more and more roads to service these communities. If the state stopped building the infrastructure through all these farmlands and rural areas, people would not move there in great numbers because they would not be able to get to where they need to go efficiently.
Ignorance and fear have long been the basis of many flawed and discriminatory laws in this country, and the fact that the court decision agrees with Mr Rodricks’ personal prejudices in this case means very little. In the future I ask that Mr Rodricks do some research before passing blanket judgments based on ignorance and personal fears and not spread factual inaccuracies about a loving and misunderstood dog breed.
